Yes, we can accommodate special requests.
Our professionals are trained and experienced in cleaning windows both inside and out. We can clean the interior side for your windows, or just the exterior – it is up to you.
We do clean screens and storm windows for an additional charge.
Most of our customers opt for window cleaning twice a year however, we can schedule whatever frequency you like.
United Window Cleaning offers year round window cleaning, which we are able to perform in most types of weather.
We can clean your windows during periods of light rain. If there are heavy winds or there is driving rain, we may need to reschedule for the safety of our technicians.
The duration of the job depends upon the type of structure, number of windows, and what services are requested. Most homes without storm windows required between two and four hours to complete inside and out.
If you are only having the exterior of your windows washed you do not need to be home at the time of your appointment.
Our technicians will arrive at your home prepared with their own ladders, hoses, and bags. They will clear all gutters of debris to insure rain water flows through freely. Any issues with your gutters will be noted and reported to you. Upon completion of your gutter cleaning, all debris will be bagged and removed from site.
Typically you will notice that gutters are clogged and need to be cleaned if they are not working properly. Indications that the gutters are clogged include water coming over the top or water constantly dripping or leaking from the gutters when it hasn’t rained. You may also see water leaking inside your home/building, generally where the ceilings meet the walls. As a rule of thumb, we recommend cleaning the gutters twice a year.
We will leave a door hanger to let you know your gutters were cleaned.
The primary reason gutters become clogged is when leaves and twigs fall and create a high concentration of debris. This happens when leaves fall in autumn, but also after heavy winds or sereve storms. Birds and small animals can also be a culprit when they choose to nest in your gutter.
